Antonio Turiel

Antonio Turiel is a scientist and a well-known communicator of the problems of sustainability in our society. With a degree in Physics and Mathematics and a PhD in Theoretical Physics, he is a research scientist at the Institute of Marine Sciences of Barcelona, CSIC. His research has focused on turbulence and satellite oceanography, although he is also an expert in the field of natural resources. His blog, The Oil Crash, is one of the major references in Spanish on the problem of peak oil.
