Workshop

If you want to know how humans went from doing basic operations with the abacus to handling qbits in complex quantum computers, don’t miss this interactive talk. We will take a historical look at human creativity and invention applied to the world of computing. You will learn how to calculate like the Sumerians did, play with an analogue computer and discover the possibilities of quantum computing. We will also show how advances in physics have contributed to the evolution of computing and discover what happens in the world of the very small.

All activities are included in the Festival ticket price. It is not possible to purchase tickets for separate events.
