Marcia Griffiths is the undisputed Queen of reggae music. Discovered as a child and immediately signed to Jamaica’s legendary Studio 1 Records, she moved in adulthood to Harry J Records, where she dueted with top songwriter Bob Andy, and sang in Bob Marley’s I Threes. As a solo artist she had huge success for Joe Gibbs, pioneering female producer Sonia Pottinger and later Penthouse Records. From early smashes such as Feel Like Jumping to roots classics like Stepping Out Of Babylon to dancehall hit Automatic featuring Busy Signal, her vast catalogue has something for everyone. Marcia always adds cover versions of her favourite artists to her sets, for a fully inclusive, celebratory experience.
