Elena studied Teaching in Special Education at the University of Vigo. Subsequently, she expanded her education with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Care and a Postgraduate Degree in Attention to Diversity. Elena finished her studies and began to work in the field of formal education. After some time, she decided to create a play and socialization space for children, focusing mainly on working with people with learning and socialization problems. She combines her work with training in Active Education and Creative Education.

In 2014 Elena started the Imagine Elephants project, an initiative that focuses on getting to know and promoting children’s play as a vital impulse and engine for learning.

Currently, in addition to accompanying her son Kai in the conquest of the world, she provides training and assistance to projects and people in relation to play, growth and learning.
