Named after the Afrikaans word for “rhythm” Lleida, Catalonia’s Koers are a new wave reggae band with wide ranging influences. Currently riding on the success of their 2018 debut album Unbroken, they play a summery mix of reggae, soul, pop and dub. They are skilled performers of their own original songs and their 2019 cover of Bill Withers’ Ain’t No Sunshine, made popular in reggae by Horace Andy and Ken Boothe.
