Social Art Gallery
A refreshing cocktail of art, creativity, social awareness and artistic creation live
Social Art Gallery is a platform and a meeting place to share and disseminate all kinds of artistic expressions and enjoy live art. An area that gives voice and visibility to twenty selected proposals in each edition, it is a space where art is a means of expression and the artists are conduits for ideas and emotions. Open to creativity and imagination the area is located in the heart of the festival and coordinated by the Valencian artist Iris Serrano.
In addition to showcasing the projects that each artist brings, it allows the public to be direct witnesses of the process of creating a work. Developed hour after hour, during the course of the festival.
The artistic proposal of this space also has a solidary aspect: all the works created during the edition go on sale and their profits are destined to help finance solidarity projects.
SOCIAL ART GALLERY 2025
The theme for this edition is CELEBRATING LIFE. This year, as Rototom celebrates its 30th anniversary, we want to celebrate the journey with a toast to life, the essence of all things. Because the world that is created each year during that week, formed by thousands of people of different ages, cultures, and backgrounds who coexist peacefully and joyfully, is proof that a world of peace and love is possible, and that itself is ‘celebrating life’. The deadline for submitting applications will be until June 3.
*The works will be made during the first 3 days and will be exhibited at the Festival site throughout the Festival and will be on sale in order to help finance solidarity projects. At the end of the festival, they will become part of the Social Art Gallery’s collection.
**Only proposals with mixed media, acrylics or other techniques will be accepted, but not those involving the exclusive use of spray paint.
