Rapper, singer and producer Lady Leshurr is one of the UK’s premier lyrical talents. She came to media and public attention for her Queen’s Speech series of freestyles and won the MOBO award for best female act in 2016. With heritage in the Caribbean island of St Kitts, Lady Leshurr was strongly influenced by reggae and dancehall from an early age, citing Bob Marley and Sister Nancy as childhood influences. Her appearance at the Rototom Dancehall will be a celebration of the interconnectedness of modern bass culture.
