Nkulee Dube is the daughter of South African reggae legend Lucky Dube. She has continued his legacy of soulful authentic reggae music. Born in Johannesburg in 1987, she has followed her late father’s path into the creative arts, starting as a backing singer and dancer before developing her own impressive solo career. Her music draws heavily on reggae while incorporating elements of jazz, soul and South African music. She returns to Rototom for the first time since 2017 with new material such as 2019’s Empowering I Am Woman.
