We present a new video-report on the festival, directed by Tommaso D’Elia, in which he documents some of the highlights of the 2022 edition, that was undoubtedly marked by the expected return of the festival after the pandemic and by the unexpected windstorm that forced an impromptu suspension of activities during one of the festival nights.

After two years of closure due to Pandemic the Rototom Sunsplash European reggae festival, the world’s largest reggae festival reopens its doors. A festival that for more than 30 years, first in Friuli and now in Spain, has been producing music, culture, social debates. All the great political, environmental, philosophical issues of our days are addressed and debated. Many Nobel Peace Prize winners have participated over the years: Shirin ʿEbādi, Rigoberta Menchú Tum, and others. Philosophers such as Zygmunt Bauman. Environmentalists like Vandana Shiva, and then… lots and lots of music. This video-report documents the ‘2022 edition.
