Rototom Sunsplash extends its sessions this August from six to eight days to maximize a reggae holiday experience by the Mediterranean
Enjoy the Rototom Sunsplash experience for 20 euros per day. Europe’s largest international reggae festival launches a special ticket promotion for a historic edition, the 30th, which will be held from August 16 to 23, 2025, in Benicàssim under the open, eclectic, inclusive, and sustainable format it has maintained since its origins. A hallmark that embraces the equally idiosyncratic daytime programming, with cultural and extra-musical activity areas adapted for families, coexisting with the comprehensive musical agenda projected on its half-dozen stages.
From Sunday, December 15, at 8:00 p.m., until the 31st of the same month, the reggae festival opens the 2025 presale with the full ticket at the special price of 160 euros -plus management fees-, which represents almost a 50% discount compared to the final ticket cost of 280 euros, to enjoy the eight days that will make up this milestone anniversary, adding two more days to its predecessor edition last summer.
Attendees who wish to stay at the campsite can do so for 80 euros for the eight days of the festival, plus management fees. On the other hand, cashless system top-ups of 100 euros or more made by the end of the year will include an extra 5% balance.
Additionally, from next Sunday, December 15, at 7:30 p.m., Rototom Clubbers (followers of the Telegram and WhatsApp channels) can get the first 1,000 tickets for the eight days of the festival at half price: 140 euros (plus management fees). Those who want to join Rototom Club and access these discounted tickets, as well as stay updated on other promotions and exclusive services from their mobile, can sign up at https://rototomsunsplash.com/rototom-club/
On the other hand, the festival also maintains in this edition the 50% discount on tickets and passes for residents of Benicàssim -applicable to each current rate segment- and for teenagers: from 13 to 17 years old.
Inclusive passes, which involve free access to the festival for children under 13, seniors over 65, and people with disabilities (65%, accredited) will once again be linked to a solidarity contribution of 10 euros that will be entirely allocated to help finance the social projects of the NGOs and entities selected in this edition. Companions of attendees with disabilities will receive a 50% discount on their ticket and/or pass, in any of its modalities.
Notable novelties for a historic edition
Alongside the main novelty of Rototom Sunsplash 2025, the increase to eight festival days, the 30th edition of the international reggae event will arrive with many others, such as improvements to the camping area, which will include more security measures and lighting. Two of the demands that the public has communicated to the organization through social media feedback, and that Rototom Sunsplash has incorporated into the roadmap for its next edition, already underway.
“A great effort will be made to ensure that attending the festival becomes a more intense, comfortable, and safe experience for all the people who visit us every summer,” indicated the management.
The camping area will also feature, as a novelty, completely free potable water supply points.
The work to improve the camping area also aims to incorporate new structures and solutions to expand shaded areas.
On the other hand, the new features will also extend to the concert venue schedule, which will delay its opening to 5:00 PM to avoid the hottest hours. However, the cultural activity at the venue will not be diminished as all the cultural and non-musical proposals that bring the festival to life will extend their schedule well into the night. Additionally, the organization will strengthen the cultural activity in the afternoon both in the camping area and in the town of Benicàssim, with the aim of further strengthening ties with the territory that has hosted it since 2010, and to introduce the event to a new audience.
In this regard, and while waiting to finalize the event schedule that will take place in the town, Rototom Sunsplash confirms that the Social Forum, its space for debates and collective reflection par excellence, will return for the second consecutive year to the Municipal Theatre of Benicàssim after “the great reception last summer.”
