Romain Virgo, members of Peter Tosh’s band and his son Andrew, Harrison Stafford of Groundation, Stylo G, Manudigital, Johnny Clarke, Jesse Royal, Khalia, Jah Lil, Naomi Cowan, Flavour, Shopsydoo and, representing the Spanish scene for the first time, Iseo & Dodosound, will star in the sessions.
This space for learning about Jamaican culture that enhances the festival’s daytime agenda will also explore the different forms of dub poetry, the global rise of Afrobeats and the importance of Rastafari both inside and outside Jamaica.
On 18th August, the festival’s lion roar will introduce two of the most important roots reggae artists, the Jamaicans The Congos The Gladiators and the Californian band Groundation.
Marcus Gad from New Caledonia, accompanied by his band Tribe and a brass section, will emerge on the Main Stage and joined by the local sound of Iseo Dodosound, the Spanish duo from Navarra.
The festival celebrates its almost 30 years of existence from August 16 to 21 under the slogan ‘The Power of Utopia’.
