The music from the Rototom Sunsplash has also pass this year through the walls of the prison of Albocàsser in Castellon. The singjay from Barcelona Alex Bass, who performed last Sunday at the Showcase stage, has offered a special concert alongside The Same Song Band for the people serving sentence there. After the show, the artist conversed with prisoners about music and reggae figures like Bob Marley.

It is not the first time the festival takes its music to jail. Artists like the Italian Mellow Mood, Triad Vibration and Playa Desnuda, the Colombians Alerta Kamarada or the Spanish Jaume Mas have performed for the inmates on previous occasions.
