21 January 2016
As a part of our commitment to protecting the environment, this month we will begin work on extending the vegetation at the concert venue in Benicassim with the planting of 150 new trees.
Work will begin on Monday January 25 and, to begin with, the trees will be located in the zone designated for the parking of caravans without electrical connection. In later phases trees will be planted in the other areas of the campsite. The trees will be placed lots of 6×6 meters, so as to outline the different spaces and to ensure that there is sufficient space for emergency vehicle access in the case of an emergency, in an effort to even further guarantee the security of our visitors.
The species chosen for the reforestation is a variety of fruitless mulberry, a tree that was specially recommended to us by experts because it is ideal for these natural surroundings. The work will also serve to inspect the condition of the pre-existing vegetation, eliminating dead plants and pruning the current trees to ensure that they are in perfect condition come summer.
This reforestation project in the concert venue is yet another example of our commitment to conserving the local landscape.
