Togheter with Stephen, Ky-Mani Marley is the son of the great Bob, whose voice is most similar to the father's. On February 26, 1976 he was born to the legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis. After having passed some periods of his childhood with the father Bob and the mother Rita, he emigrated in 1985 with the mother to Miami. You can find an account of his rough adolescence in the autobiographical book "Dear dad", published recently.
Ky-Mani feels at ease both on roots reggae and hip hop rhythms, as you can see from the great CDs "Many more roads" and "Radio". This summer he will be finally back on scene with the long-time awaited "New Heights", realized in collaboration with the Jamaican producer Donovan Bennett.
