They are linked by their knowledge and experience, their close relationship with the Earth and their role as guests in the PachaMama area of Rototom Sunsplash. The first is known as Abuela Pilar who will visit the area on August 17 to give her particular view on reconnecting with Mother Earth. The second is Mariano Bueno, who will come a day later, to explain to the audience the relationship between food and health.
‘Abuela’ is a wise person. One who cares. That is what makes her Abuela Pilar. Guardian of the circle of the Arboleda de las hijas de Gaia and guardian of Sant Miquel de Coma de Roure, she is member of the Mujeres en Pie de Paz movement, which aims to weave change for future generations. Like all other ‘grannies’, she is a spiritual woman of action, who practices and preaches a spiritual activism with which, by extending her energy, to help heal the Earth’s problems and the problems of the people who inhabit it. ‘Abuela’ Pilar will speak of this and her special relationship and connection with the PachaMama, in her conference on August 17. What is more, the following day she will participate in one of the most magical rituals of the week at the festival: the full moon ceremony.
Furthermore on August 18 joining us in the PachaMama area will be the second of the ‘wise ones’, Mariano Bueno (Benicarló, 1958), expert, pioneer and herald of ecological agriculture, geobiology, bioconstruction and other such alternatives for healthy living not only in Spain but also in Latin America. He will do so to speak of the duality of food and health on which his latest book Comer salud is based on, which he will present in October and from which he will give insights to the audience at Rototom Sunsplash.
