On Saturday July 21 and in a the privileged setting that is Jardines de Viveros de Valencia, we will one of the dates in the three-day tour led by Ky-Mani Marley to present our 25th edition. The eclectic son of Jamaican legend Bob Marley lands in the Mediterranean with exciting new material. With it he moves on from Conversations, recorded with Gentleman and that led him to star in a unique show in our last edition in Benicàssim last August. In his new work he has opted for the mix of styles and going beyond his reggae roots, which are, he says, his “inspiration”, but not his “limit”.
From his nod to more urban rhythms such as blues, hip hop and rock, without renouncing the essence of reggae intrinsic to his surname, on Saturday, July 21st, the audience of Viveros 2018, organized within the framework of Great Fira Valencia. A reggae party led by Ky-Mani Marley that will also feature two of the Valencian bands of the genre: Mediterranean Roots and Auxili. Complete artistic cast for this evening in Viveros Borumbaia Percussion.
Valencia will be the halfway point of the Ky-Mani Marley tour, which will start 24 hours earlier in Fuengirola (Málaga) -Friday July 20-; and will culminate in Madrid on Sunday 22.
