Travel the five continents without leaving the venue, guided solely by our palate that is what is on offer in the restaurant area of Rototom Sunsplash, that this year boasts a zone full of new features, to keep surprising visitors.
Among the broad range of dishes that the public can taste from August 15 to 22, the addition of new culinary proposals such as the traditional Japanese food of Manpukutei, the flavours of exotic Ethiopian cuisine with the dishes of Addis Abeba, the fusion of ethnic South America flavours, aromas and textures of I Love Latin Food, the traditional crepe stand from French Brittany Tortas y Crepes, the eco pastas and crepes with eco ingredients that are apt for celiacs of Las Mil y Una Lunas, the original vegetarian gastronomical offerings from Alicante, the jamaican jerk chicken of Wayne´s Street one Cooking or the unique rolls of Dar Ciriola made with local products from Rome.
More additions to the list are the 100% BIO meats of Vaca Negra, the Galician cuisine of Pulpería Galicia, or the Mediterranean rice and fish of the Balcón del Mar (Grau, Castellon)
Furthermore in the campsite there will be a Food Truck area where campers can try the delicacies of Normandy with Crepes Triskan, the special menu of Hambuguesería Gourmet nº 5 or the selection of flavours and aromas of the world at Sr Pitanza.
Of the local classics returning to the venue it worth highlighting the participation of, the L’Etrusco pizza stand, the Argentinian grill Macanudos, the Afro Senegalese cuisine of Ker África, the juices of Fruit Pikers, the Cuban flavours of El Sabrosón, the pizzas oven baked over fire wood of the Elfos, the Caribbean cooking of Black Temple, roasted chickens, Greek kebabs and falafels of Shawarma, the artisanal Morrocan ice creams and desserts of El Fantasía, the Thai exoticism of Papaya Thai-Food, as well as the Italian desserts of Sweet Marel.
Teas, craft beers and new music areas
When it comes to drinks, this year the visitors at Rototom Sunsplash can try a wide range of teas at Yogi Tea, that has its roots in the ancient knowledge of Indian Ayurveda. There are also the craft beers of Canabeer (craft cannabis beer from Segorbe), & Blues (Valencia), La Cabala (Montseny) and the wide selection at the Cervezas del Mundo tent.
Musically speaking apart from the return of the Juanita Club, this year the biggest news is incorporation of the emblematic club from Modena (Italy), Vibra, that will set up a special tent; together with the creation of a new DJ area born with the spirit to become an eclectic space where reggae will be mixed with the best of black music, soul, funk, Latino & Brazilian jazz and nju funk and many other styles.
