Grandma Pilar fills with magic the PachaMama area at the Rototom Sunsplash with an evening ceremony in which the audience at the festival has participated
The sun begins to set and the full moon regains its full role. The same moon which these days of Rototom Sunsplash has been observing everything that has happened in this venue full of magic, reggae and freedom.
On Thursday 18, the full moon became the true protagonist of the PachaMama area. Mother Earth welcomes the full moon with a ceremony led by Grandma Pilar. A genuine discharge of emotions and feelings around the transparent Rototom flag, the flag of peace raised by Grandma Pilar on Wednesday 17 in the Mother Earth area.
And so, as the sun goes down dozens of people are driven by this ceremony and the incredible magic emanating from Grandma Pilar. Willing to let themselves go. “Grandma full moon, fill me with love” or “change my emotions for love, pure love” are some of the slogans that guided this beautiful ceremony. Rice circles, symbols, music and songs, the ground and bare feet in contact with Mother Earth. A torrent of emotions that were released by the arrival of the full moon, from that “pure love”.
