The healthy pastries of Sweet Marel grows its ‘energy point’ this year in collaboration with the cooperative from Tarragona EcoArrels by adding 100% natural products from the Amazon such as maca, muira puama and guaraná.
Ingredients are combined with natural fruit shakes freshly made that boost the properties of the fruits. Maca, grown in the Andes of Peru at an altitude of more than 4,000 metres, has high nutritional value that helps revitalise the body. Muira puama is a small shrub that grows wild in the Amazon and that serves as a nuero-muscular tonic and physical revitaliser, which is used to treat erectile dysfunction; while guaraná, another shrub from the Amazon jungle in Brazil, is considered as a food for life that improves the body’s well-being, shakes of tiredness, awakens and stimulates the mind.
For foodies, in addition the usual sweets, Sweet Marel adds ones made with soy, oat and wholegrain flours that apart from being a healthy option also energize the body.
Healthy pastries and shake, natural and energising at the heart of the festival, doesn’t it sound good?
