“Move 4 Gaza” will bring the spirit of Gaza to the heart of the festival this summer with a charitable purpose through three cultural proposals with dance – from urban to traditional dance – and conscious crafts as its cornerstones.
This collective action aims to showcase a small part of Gaza’s cultural life and donate 100% of the proceeds to four projects that continue to work in the Strip.
These are the ones promoted by the Palestinian artistic collectives Camps Breakerz, Breaking 48, Foursan Trouppe for Art and Free Gaza Circus Center.
During different days of the festival, from August 16 to 23 in Benicàssim, “Move 4 Gaza” will promote the cultural actions that integrate the project in its extra-musical spaces.
Move4Gaza is an initiative promoted by Erol Urba (Bcn), Let’s Grow (Vlc), Valentina Carlone, Liv Ascolese, Erol Urba and Socks with a Cause with the support of Rototom and the Exodus Foundation in collaboration with Watani, Artivismo and Yalla Roma and aims to show a small part of the cultural life that is still active in Gaza.

CAMPS BREAKERS
Born in 2004 as a community dance team, promoted by the brothers Moh Ghraiz and Ahmed Alghariz, to represent the Palestinian people and draw attention to their constant struggle. Dance, art, teaching and social awareness are mixed in this project, which adds among its milestones having managed to found the first dance school in the Nuseirat refugee camp, after a bombing in 2009 rendered its previous rehearsal room unusable.
