We open the call for artists who want to present their proposals. This year the theme we propose is ’25years walking together’.
Social Art Gallery is a platform and a meeting place to share and disseminate all kinds of artistic expressions and enjoy live art. An area that gives voice and visibility to twenty selected proposals in each edition, it is a space where art is as a means of expression and the artists are conduits for ideas and emotions. Open to creativity and imagination the area is located in the heart of the festival and coordinated by the Valencian artist Iris Serrano.
In addition to giving visibility to projects presented by each artist, it allows festival goers to witness the creative process behind a piece of art, gestated hour by hour, throughout the duration of the festival.
As we do every year, we open the call for artists who want to present their proposals. This year the theme we propose is ’25years walking together’ theme of our twenty fifth anniversary, which accompanies us in our understanding of Rototom, building a new world through community cooperation, collective struggle and, cheerful and rebellious unity.
Especially in these times of censorship and repression, we proclaim the arts as a fundamental right of people.
The artistic proposal of this space also has a caring side: all works created during the edition go on sale and the profits go to help fund charitable projects.
