The final selection was based on a weighted final score where the average of the nine judges (after scaling their vote from 1-10 to base 100) represents 80%, and the online popular vote (linearly normalized from 1 to 100 relative to the most voted candidate) contributes the remaining 20%.

The jury is composed of a diverse selection of promoters, journalists, and leading professionals, covering the key points of the national music scene:

Miguel Camaño: Radio Nacional de España (Radio 3 / Radio 1).
Iñigo Castro: Txapel Reggae Festival (Armintza, Basque Country).
Eloi Contreras: Nowa Reggae Festival (Vilanova i la Geltrú, Catalonia).
Bruno Giusti: Rototom Sunsplash Festival (Benicàssim, Valencian Community).
Alex Kurh: Reggae Boa Festival (Balboa, Castilla y León).
Xoán Lois Vila: Minho Reggae Splash – Minho Reggae Cultural Association (Pontevedra, Galicia).
Carlos Monty: Lawyer, writer, journalist and reggae chronicler (Valencia/Madrid).
Javier Pulpo: Extremareggae Music Festival (Puebla de la Calzada, Extremadura).
José Carlos Ramos: Do the Reggae – DotheReggae Sociocultural Association (Madrid).

GENERAL RULES

Scope: Call restricted exclusively to artists and bands residing in Spain.
Format: Participation exclusively for band shows and live sets. Proposals from singers accompanied only by a DJ in “track show” format will not be accepted.
Repertoire: Must be 100% original (cover/tribute bands are not allowed).
Technical capacity: A 45-minute live show must be guaranteed.
Public vote: 20% of the final score will depend on the public vote.
Professional Selection: 80% of the score will depend on a panel of industry specialists.

PRIZES AND CONDITIONS

The three (3) winning proposals will enjoy:

Live performance: 45-minute show on the Lion Stage at Rototom Sunsplash (August 16).
Travel expenses: Expense reimbursement allowance up to a maximum of €1,000.
Accommodation: Stay of up to 7 days in the Glamping area of the festival’s camping zone.
Hospitality: Backstage catering on show day and one additional lunch or dinner.
Accreditations: Festival access (7 days) for the band + 1 technician/manager.
Promotion: Inclusion in the official lineup, social media, press releases, and concert recording.

One (1) video file: Rehearsals, live performances, or audio with static image are accepted. Horizontal format (16:9) is recommended.
Recent group photo: (.jpg or .png format).
Technical documentation: Links to social media and Technical Rider/Stage Plan in PDF.

KEY DATES
