Rototom Sunsplash elevates its experience with a Welcome Party on August 16, free for those with a ticket, which is integrated as an extra day of the festival

The journey to Rototom Sunsplash 2026 is underway. The international festival, a planetary icon on the reggae scene and a global benchmark for diversity and multiculturalism, opens its first pre-sale window at a special price from this Monday, December 15, until December 31 for what will be its 31st edition, which will be held in the Mediterranean town of Benicàssim (Castelló, Spain) from August 17 to 22, 2026.

A new meeting that keeps alive the spirit that defines it: six days of live music, coexistence, and awareness that this year will premiere with a great novelty to further enhance the experience: its Welcome Party on August 16, which is fully integrated as one more day of the festival, with eight hours of musical programming in the same concert venue and completely free for all people with a ticket for Rototom Sunsplash.

To encourage this new venture, the festival is launching a pre-sale that, from this Monday, December 15, at 8:00 p.m., until the 31st of the same month, will allow you to purchase the full season ticket at the special price of 155 euros, with management fees included.

Thus, anticipating the purchase of this reggae passport means savings of almost 50% compared to the final price of season tickets in August 2026. Translated into experience, it allows you to enjoy more than twelve hours a day of uninterrupted cultural and musical activity at Rototom Sunsplash for less than 26 euros per day.

One more summer, the festival maintains its policy of special discounts to facilitate access to the concert venue. People over 65, with disabilities, or under 13 years of age can enjoy the entire festival through a symbolic, unique, and solidarity payment of 10 euros -plus 1 euro for management fees- which will be entirely allocated to projects of social entities. Likewise, the 50% discount on tickets and season tickets applied to minors between 13 and 17 years of age is maintained.

With the countdown to this first pre-sale at a special price, Rototom Sunsplash invites its international community to start dreaming now of the summer of 2026. To be part of the journey towards a new edition that promises to continue growing as a global, intercultural, and open meeting point. Six days in which the music of Jamaican roots is intertwined from the different stages with the multiple cultural proposals that deploy its thematic spaces and the most international gastronomy. In the most Mediterranean reggae city, where life is buzzing.

The event, entitled “Our Palestinian doctors: conscience and dignity”, is part of the ‘Dialogues without borders’ cycle and will take place on Thursday, November 6 in Castellón
The solidarity initiative materialized thanks to the contributions of the festival's public will contribute to financing scientific research lines, health care projects for Palestinian refugees, and support for migrant women, along with inclusion programs for people with disabilities.
The “Celebrating Life” edition seals an anniversary of unity, commitment, and solidarity that has brought more than 200 shows and DJ sets to the festival's seven stages and multiple cultural activities in its ten extra-musical spaces during its eight days. Next year we will celebrate our 31st edition from August 16 to 22, 2026 in Benicàssim
