The Social Forum will address the alternatives that exist for overcoming the emotional stress of an eviction, unemployment or a depression on August 15
To be evicted, lose your job, suffer a depression … They are all conflicts or situations that can affect us daily. How can we address them? How to overcome them? What tools do we possess? Trying to the answers to these and other questions will be the objective of the debate Personal pathologies or social pathologies? Heal mind and spirit that will take place in the Social Forum on August 15 bringing together as guests José María Doria, founder of the Spanish School for Transpersonal Development, and José María Toribio, coordinator of Psychologists Without Borders.
Both will present two different options, which are not necessarily incompatible, to confront the circumstances that condition us. The aims to overcome these types of personal obstacles through the transformation of one’s self rather than acting firstly in the situation that causes us pain, distress, worry and doubt. On the other hand Toribio will insists that there are alternatives to the traditional therapies that we all know, and which go directly to the root of the problem, to try and change the social context that, in some way, nourishes them.
