Social commitment through art and, especially, humour will have a special place this year at Rototom Sunsplash. The members of the Pallasos en Rebeldía, who we met at the last edition of FiSahra Film Festival 2015, will participate in the coming edition of the festival developing actions the different festival areas.
The organization, that in recent years has brought their shows to places around the world where people have suffered terribly from violent conflicts and social injustices such as the indigenous communities in Chiapas Mexico, the refugee camps in the Sahara or the Palestinian cities occupied by Israel, will participate alongside the members of other collectives in a debate in the Social Forum that will analyse ways of dealing with violent conflicts, in this case with social circus.
Pallasos en Rebeldía, whose creation was supported by Festiclown (International Clown Festival in Galicia) and the work of Culturactiva, have also prepared special shows for big and small that they will interpret in areas like RototomCircus and MagicoMundo.
