The African Village will receive on Sunday August 16 a very special guest all the way from Guinea Conakry. Nakany Kanté, born in Sigurí, in the heartland of Mandinga music, is based in Barcelona, where she has developed her musical career, promises to enchant us with her music has traditional roots which she modernizes with electronic instruments
It is a mix that gives her a unique style that could be described as ‘afro pop mandinga’, which Nakany Kanté fuses into her first and vital album Saramaya, which means success in the Malinké language. A work edited in 2014 by Slow Walk Music, which has received great reviews and that she will share with us in the African Village.
