MagicoMundo, the ideal place to live the festival experience in family, opens its doors again to music and the promotion of values through games. On Friday, August 17 at 17:30, Emeterians, the project in which they merge their voices Brother Wildman, Sister Maryjane and Maga Lion, will sound off with an acoustic in the most family orientated corner of the venue. It is one of the many activities that we deploy in Magicomundo, which incorporates new features, such as the area reserved for children from 0 to 3 years old with sensory experiences, natural materials and structures to develop their motor skills.
Magicomundo will once again become a factory of values, as shown by the presentation of a pioneering game prototype to overcome gender stereotypes that influence the education for and choice of a professional career amongst European teenagers, to whom our festival gives a special nod if it fits in this 25th anniversary with an area board game. This is framed within the project, Free to choose, which includes two talks on August 18 about gender stereotypes in Europe and the importance of choosing freely through play. On the days 19 and 20 two sessions will take place to implement the project Free to choose, which seeks to implement the game as a tool for school and professional guidance.
The Magicomundo program is extended with the presentation of the audiobook Un cuento propio and the play En el techo del mundo, starring women who have been made invisible by history to provide new references to our younger audience. We can also discover The four roots of conscious parenting by Ivonne Laborda and the language of children through play with the collective Family Tree Kids. As a cherry, the Cayro company from Alicante will install a space for board games for children from four years.
