MagicoMundo, the space dedicated especially to all the children and families that visit Rototom Sunsplash, extends its program for this year. To be more specific, the area will be divided in six different territories, with spontaneous fun and life experiences at the heart of it all serving as means for growth and learning.
Each day from 13:00 to 20:00, the little ones can enjoy the Water Territory, a small oasis where you can stay fresh with playing games and building things; the Earth Territory, they can use sand as a sensorial element and a tool for experimenting; Mundoalidades, the space where children can learn to reuse and to create things with different materials; the Imaginarium, where they can express their artistic side; as well as the Dream Territory, dedicated to relaxation and reading.
Furthermore, for the first time ever, the area will include a zone with activities and talks for parents. It is called the Reconnection Territory, a place for reflection that will also host educative workshops and talks for adults.
Collectives such as the associations Nendo Dango, Viu i Riu, Asociación el Roser, La Capsa de Colors and Abracadabrant Teatre and guests like Imagine Elephants, Rubén Rodríguez, Eider Elizegui and Laura Espinos will collaborate in the organizing of different proposals that include reading workshops, giant bubbles, wooden games, storytelling and a talk on creative education. There will also be a workshop on gender roles and a round table debate on education, among other activities.
MagicoMundo will also receive collective visits from other areas that will present different activities. So there will be African story telling African Village, seed workshops from PachaMama and special shows run by RototomCircus. What’s more the littlest ones can participate in the painting a mural with several artists from the Art Symposium, and many other activities.
