MagicoMundo extends its programme this year with the concerts of ‘Yo soy ratón’ or ‘Reggae per Xics’, in addition to special guests and activities
The magical area specially dedicated to the youngest audience of the festival, extends its programme this year with more surprises and special collaborations. For instance, live music will play a special role this year, with the concerts offered by ‘Yo Soy Ratón’ and ‘Reggae per Xics’, on the first and last day of the festival, respectively.
Guests from other areas of the festival, such as some of the AfricanVillage artists, like Boniface Ofogo (Cameroon) or Edú Gorsy (Equatorial Guinea), will also visit MagicoMundo to introduce some of the rhythms, instruments, songs or traditional stories from this continent.
Other activities to be enjoyed in this area are a microtheater-forum by Clementinas or various talks for parents on topics such as the importance of play in learning or the limits in childhood, carried out by the Family Tree Kids project from Valencia and the educators of the live education project El Roser from Catalonia, respectively.
As a novelty, this year MagicoMundo will also count on the collaboration of the most family-friendly festival of Benicassim, the Formigues Festival which, among other actions, will organize a workshop of African masks that attendees will be able to wear later during the grand final parade that will close the activities in the area on Saturday, 19th August.
Activities that will allow attendees to create, play, dream and share in a space for learning and growing, always with absolute respect for the little ones and their universe and with spontaneous play and experience as a means to travel that exciting path.
