Youngsters and not-so-youngsters have jumped into a time machine this afternoon at MagicoMundo to relive an interactive tour, from 60’s ska to modern dancehall
They jumped around. They danced. They sang. They were converted into DJs and they set out on a musical journey traversing the Jamaican history of music, thanks to a time machine that they themselves activated. But most importantly, they had fun. The kids from MagicoMundo lead they way this afternoon in the show called Jamaikids, which brought Molts Records Kids closer to the most family-friendly space at the festival, founded in 2014 by Joan Pedrosa (El Chavo) and Carles Guinart (Check One).
Both of them submerged the kids and adults in a journey through the history of Jamaican rhythm, which started with 60’s ska and finished with modern day dancehall. Throughout the session, various kids were able to DJ and in addition, some songs from the rich musical legend of the small Caribbean island.
