Mad Professor

Neil Fraser AKA Mad Professor first became interested in electronics as a child when he dismantled the family radio. When he moved to London he was captivated by the reggae scene and decided to open his own studio Ariwa – meaning “communication” in Yoruba. The studio attracted local pop and rock bands and visited Jamaican reggae legends such as Johnny Clarke and Lee Scratch Perry. This established Mad Professor as a prolific UK reggae and dub producer of the first class, and a cutting-edge remixer of non-reggae artists such as The Beastie Boys and Massive Attack.
