Lucia-Asue Mbomio Rubio has a degree in journalism from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, MA in international aid and development, and a degree in documentary directing and screenwriting. She won the Golden TP for his work as a reporter in the program `Españoles por el mundo ‘. Currently she travels throughout Spain as a reporter for the successful program `Aquí la tierra‘ of TVE and collaborates with the digital magazine `Afroféminas’.  With her mother being from Segovia and her father from Niefang, Equatorial Guinea, she is part of the High Council of Black Communities.
