Hempress Sativa

The daughter of Twelve Tribes selector, session drummer and connoisseurs’ roots reggae singer Albert Malawi, Hempress Sativa is one of the 21st century’s most talented Jamaican artists. Equally adept as both a soulful singer and a fast-spitting deejay, she takes her stage name from her deep love of the Rasta sacramental herb, ganja. She has released two albums, 2017 debut Unconquerebel and 2018’s collaboration with dub master Scientist, Scientist meets Hempress Sativa in Dub. Having given one of the most hard hitting performances at Rototom 2017, she is stepping to the stage to deliver both smoke and fire.
