Grammenos Mastrojeni

Diplomat, professor and writer, Grammenos Mastrojeni is a pioneer in research on the social, geo-strategic and economic impacts of environmental degradation. He is currently the Coordinator for the Environment and the Political Science Interface for Cooperation and Development in Italy.

He is also a mediator for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on water, land, strategic ecosystems and oceans, and member of the delegations of UNFCCC, UNCBD. He is co-chair of the G7 Group on climate and fragility, is part of UN Mountains / Global Mountain and the Global Islands Network. He is also a professor of environment and geo strategy. He is a member of several scientific commissions and is the author of numerous articles and five books on human impacts on environmental degradation.
