DaVido is a Nigerian-American singer, born in Atlanta and raised in Lagos. His music mixes Afrobeats, hip hop and dancehall elements – as evidenced by his hit song Fall, the longest Billboard charting Nigerian pop song in history. His appearance at Rototom consolidates the festival’s commitment to African music and understanding of the interglobal links between rap, dancehall and Afrobeats today.
