The journey of the International Dub Gathering (IDG) reaches its final chapter. Today, with a mix of pride and nostalgia, we announce the second artist lineup reveal for what will be the final edition of this festival, a co-production of Rototom Sunsplash and Dub Academy that has marked a turning point in Sound System culture in southern Europe.

This second announcement strengthens a lineup designed to revisit the history of Dub and celebrate its future in style. Among the major confirmations joining this farewell, we find names that are living institutions of the genre:

The last dance at Masía Pla dels Catalans

From June 19 to 21, the town of L’Aldea (Tarragona) will be the stage for this “Last Dance”. After years of close collaboration, from Rototom Sunsplash we want to invite our entire community to join this final tribute. It’s not just a festival; it’s the closing of a cycle where music, respect, and unity have been the foundation.

“IDG was born from a shared dream to elevate Dub to its highest expression. Saying goodbye is difficult, but doing it with this lineup and with our family is the best gift we could imagine”, the organizers say.

The Exodus Foundation pays tribute to the Palestinian doctors who have developed their professional careers in the Valencian Community

The event, entitled “Our Palestinian doctors: conscience and dignity”, is part of the ‘Dialogues without borders’ cycle and will take place on Thursday, November 6 in Castellón

Misty in Roots celebrate their 50-year career, the rocksteady and soul rhythm of legendary Jamaican artist Ken Boothe and the lyrical and stage power of Saïan Supa Celebration complete the lineup on the Main Stage The Lion Stage projects the diversity of Rototom with the Californian reggae-metal band Aurorawave and the rumba fusion from Maruja Limón The Discovery Lab closes its programme with a workshop to learn how to play the theremin, taught by Austrian composer Dorit Chrysler, and Magicomundo will host a family reggae session with Emeterians
