16 August 2019
We’ve opened the doors to our 26th edition. Ahead of us are 7 intense days of music and much more than music; culture, laughter, challenges, fun, chilling, adrenaline and family, all with reggae in the background. Do you want to join the Rototom Sunsplash experience? Here’s everything you need to know, in 18 steps. From start to finish.

-
Share it: the trip will be more enjoyable, cheaper and ‘greener’. Don’t forget to take breaks!
-
Official bus direct to the festival (www.busup.com) and with a 10% discount if you come from Madrid (www.avanzagrupo.com).
-
Direct bus transfer from the airports of Castellón, Valencia and Barcelona.
For an orderly entrance without crowds, remember: we open our ticket office 24 hours early, from August 15 at 10.00 until the end of the festival. Non-stop! Avoid the hottest hours…

You must bring comfortable and light clothes; a backpack or light bag to carry the essentials; multi-purpose shawl for those desired naps on the lawn; something to cover your head; sunglasses; bikini and swimsuit; and comfortable shoes with support to move around the venue in comfort, especially during concerts. This year add a Rototom canteen to your kit and keep hydrated.
The camping has everything: communal kitchens, market, ice for sale, lockers and mobile charging points… All you need to bring is your tent from home (if you do not choose to come by caravan or book glamping); inflatable mattress or mat; kitchen utensils and a cooler. Also recommended is a trolley for moving luggage and a tarpaulin to give you a little more shade.

This year we have launched the ‘cashless’ system. All payments made within the festival can only be made with your entry bracelet, which will act as a credit card. Within the enclosure you will find three recharging points (cash or card and attended by staff) and two more in the campsite. There will also be six automatic kiosks distributed around the venue where you can only top up by credit card. If you do not spend all the money on the bracelet, go through the checkout at the exit and we will refund you in cash (except the tenths of a cent).Refunds can also be made via our website. Remember that there are no ATMs or cigarette machines in the venue.
Surely they will want to enjoy Magicomundo and Rototom Circus, and they can do so in comfort while being protected from the sun, because both spaces are located in a wooded and shaded area. All the same don’t forget the sunscreen during the day and the headphones if you share the concerts with them later on.

Three refreshing options to take a ‘nap’: on that shawl you remembered to bring in your kit that you can spread out in the green areas and under the trees of the venue; in the area between African Village and Pachamama or under the ‘domes’ of these areas.
Collect your daily program at the InfoPoint in the campsite, the venue or the ticket offices and get the most out of your day, enjoying the dozens of activities and concerts.

If you suffer or witness a case of sexism, LGTBiphobia or a situation in which the rights of any person or group are violated, for whatever reason, go to the venue’s Punto Violeta, behind the tent of the Social Forum. No means no!
The statue of Bob Marley and the giant peace symbol are the two reference points for meeting friends.

The Radio Rototom box offers one of the best views of the Main Stage. For sunsets: combine the colourful African Village scenery or the works of the Social Art Gallery with the light of the sun going down… and triumph with your followers.
Guide dogs can access the campsite and the venue, while pets less than 8 kg can enter the camping area. There is a dog centre 10 minutes from the festival, with a 10% discount for Rototom festivalgoers.

With 40 gastronomic proposals from which to choose, from four continents and for all budgets, give your palate a treat!
Do not forget the sunscreen and drink plenty of water. This year our ‘ecopack’ makes it easy for you: it includes a reusable glass, a cup holder and a 3 euro card to refill up to 3 litres of water (with or without gas) in the fountains spread all over the festival.

The extension of the festival on the beach is called Solé. Reggae, sea, hammocks, dancehall and DJ sets… with a direct bus from the concert venue.
You will have a direct link with the festival thanks to Radio Rototom and its 24 hour broadcast. Download the App and enjoy some background music while you are in the campsite or resting! And if you cannot be there all week, you can teleport yourself to Benicàssim with live streaming.

Plan your return trip: print your tickets with time. Better do it at home.
Get a souvenir of the festival. You have a wide variety of garments and merchandise to choose from tightly linked with our Stand up for Earth philosophy.
