A combination of a tough upbringing and prodigious ability have brought Modena’s Lion D to the forefront of Italian – and worldwide – reggae music. Of Italian/Nigerian heritage, he is equally versed in singing and deejaying, and has collaborated with industry giants such as Alborosie and the Wailers’ Lee Jaffe. Like Pupa Albo his lyrical skills in English and Patois are impeccable, and his return to Rototom for the first time since 2017 will be a joyful reunion.
