According to the UNESCO, the relationship between climate change and social, economic and geopolitical instability is very high. Their effects modify the physical landscape of the world and destabilize the most vulnerable regions. They can also undermine the ability of some countries to self-govern and generate unexpected conflicts.
With Tatiana Nuño, responsible for the Energy and Climate Change Campaign of Greenpeace Spain, and Grammenos Mastrojeni, Italian diplomat and international pioneer in research on the social effects of environmental degradation, we will define the role of citizenship and politics in this climate emergency that shakes social peace.
