Dónde Irán, a documentary of Green Valley

Dónde Irán ft. &

Documentary and debate with Green Valley and Mamadou Dia

The idea of this documentary arises during the recording of the video-clip for “Donde Irán”  the first single of the album “Bajo la Piel” by the group Green Valley.

Ander Valverde, leader of the group, with this clip wanted shed light on the tragedy of the thousands of deaths suffered by our African neighbours every year at sea, in search of a supposedly better future, and the need to confront new racist and xenophobic tendencies.

During the preproduction of this video-clip Ander and Egoi Suso (usual Green Valley filmmaker and Ander’s colleague), enter into communication with activists Mamadou Día and Sani Ladan, immigrants who had arrived from Africa leaving a trail of brothers dead in the Mediterranean and managed to integrate into society, complete studies and return to their place of origin to share their learning.

Their experiences and visions of social inclusion and migration will be shared with our public in the Social Forum.
