On August 16 the Social Forum will address the causes of the greenhouse effect and the role that industrial agricultural food practices and extensive cattle farming have to play in it
Climate change and its causes is still currently a hot topic, and it is to this issue that we dedicate one of the twelve debates at this year’s Rototom Sunsplash Social Forum. With the title Climate change. Between cows and oil, this space for analysis and reflection will address the role of that they play in the greenhouse effect-which is often linked to the consumption of hydrocarbons-, on Tuesday August 16, the practices, and volume of emissions generated by the agricultural food industry, particularly through extensive cattle farming.
