Cooperative art at Reggae University
12 August 2016
During the festival there will be 36 reproductions by the artist Abba Yahudah, the sale of which will go to raising funds to help the elderly Rastafarians in need
The Reggae University tent will this year dress it walls with cooperative art. For the duration of the festival we will exhibit 36 reproductions of works by the artist of Jamaican origin, Abba Yahudah in the exhibition titled ‘Color to the People!’.
All the Works will be on sale and the money raised will be donated to the Word Sound Power, an organisation that takes care of elderly Rastafari’s in need, by covering their basic needs.
Indeed, one of the founders of the organisation, Ras Flako Tafari, who apart from being an important member of Nyah Binghi Order –the oldest group of the Rastafarian movement-, will also participate in Regae University this year.
So why not collaborate?!!
