The crafts will put their most conscious side in the festival venue. The ArteSano Market has prepared a broad program in which the stand owners will share the secrets of their respective crafts through participative workshops, for both children and adults.
Every day from 17:00 to 20:00, the audience will be able to learn how to make instruments from agave, create pieces with Murano glass, pieces of macramé, build personalised puppets, make purses, recycle clothes to make, for example, to turn old T-shirts into backpacks, dying clothes, make henna tattoos and elaborate biocosmetics and natural products like fruits, among other things.
Every evening there will between two and tree workshops for adults and as many for children. In some of them the places will be limited. Furthermore, on the first and last days of the festival there will be special activities. Therefore on Saturday August 13 there will be a special welcome workshop in which the participants will create decorative flags inspired by human rights that we will decorate the market during the Rototom Sunsplash. In another activity, a giant mandala will be made that will also be exhibited in this area.
On the last day of the festival, Saturday 20, the activity will be to make small Indian mandalas that you can later take home with you as a souvenir.
Los Oliveros, Planet Puppets, Pita Escuela, El Olivar Divino, Sativa Free, Artesanía Pura y Dura, Mar al Vent, Perú Ethnic Art, Sprigrafo Glas Art and El Señor de los Olivos are the artisans who will participate this year in the ArteSano Market.
