If you have an unspent balance on your wristband or cashless card at the end of the festival, you can request an online refund. Here’s how, when, and what you’ll need.

Can I get a refund for the money left on my wristband?
Yes. Once the festival is over, you can request an online refund for the remaining credit, which will be deposited into your bank account.
How long do I have to request it?
The online refund period runs from August 25 to September 20, 2026.
After this period closes, no new applications will be accepted, so don’t leave it until the last day.
How do I apply?
- Go to cashless.safetyglobal.com/devolucionesROTOTOM2026
- Enter the long code from your wristband and accept the terms and conditions. If you don’t know where to find it, click “Where can I find my code?” on the screen itself.
- In the Refund tab, enter the security code.
- Provide an email address, your full name, and the account number where you wish to receive the remaining balance.
- Review the IBAN before submitting and save the confirmation email.
What do I need to have on hand?
- Your wristband or cashless card, with legible codes.
- The IBAN of the bank account where you want to receive the money.
Do I need to keep the wristband?
Yes, it is essential. The codes that identify your balance are printed on the wristband, so without it, the refund cannot be processed.
Keep it until you have received the payment, and do not cut or tamper with it.
I lost or threw away my wristband. Can I still request a refund?
No. The codes printed on the wristband are the only way to access your balance. If you have lost or thrown it away, the refund cannot be processed.
How long will it take to receive the money?
Requests are not processed as they arrive: they are all processed together once the deadline has passed. From that moment, it will take between 10 and 15 business days to see the money in your bank account.
Is there a fee for the refund?
It depends on where your bank account is located:
- Accounts within the European Economic Area (EEA): Free refund, no management fees.
- Accounts outside the EEA: The refund is made via international transfer (with Wise or similar). If there are bank fees, these will be borne by the beneficiary and deducted from the refunded amount.

Which countries form the EEA?
The 27 countries of the European Union plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
The United Kingdom and Switzerland are not part of the EEA, so transfers to these destinations are handled as international.
My account is outside the EEA. Can I avoid fees?
Yes. If you provide a European IBAN belonging to the EEA —for example, with digital accounts like Revolut, N26, or a Wise multi-currency account— you will receive the full refund without fees, just as if you had a local account.
If you prefer to use your usual account, transfers are managed through Wise or similar entities to ensure the lowest possible cost. Fees vary depending on the destination country and may include charges from intermediary banks; you can estimate them using the wise.com simulator before requesting your refund.
Is the extra 5% balance from early top-ups also refunded?
No. The additional 5% obtained when topping up more than €100 in advance sales is non-refundable promotional balance. Only the amount actually charged and not consumed will be refunded.
I used a cashless card instead of a wristband. Does anything change?
No. The process is the same: keep the card and use its codes to request the online refund.
My wristband broke during the festival. Can I recover the balance?
During the festival, go to the customer service desk at the Cashless point with your broken wristband, and we will give you a new one. The balance can only be maintained if the wristband retains the chip.
Can I request a refund at the venue during the festival?
No. Refunds are online and only after the festival has ended, within the indicated period.
