In 2012 we were fortunate enough to receive a visit from Zygmunt Bauman, one of the last century’s great thinkers, when he participated in one of the debates at the Social Forum where we were able to talk with him together with the festival’s audience. Today we would like to pay tribute to him with this video recorded during his visit.
With the death of Zygmunt Bauman one of the most critical voices of an individualist and cruel contemporary society; which he defined as “liquid modernity”, in which nothing is solid. His works, his own biography and his clairvoyant insights in both conferences and interviews made him a powerful beacon that served to give intellectual guidance in these turbulent times.
