Kampala born Ratigan Era is a shining example of the fast growing Ugandan dancehall scene. Vocally influenced by Jamaica’s Busy Signal but with his own unmistakable tone, Ratigan has written songs for some of Uganda’s top artists and has been recording his own singles since 2016. Rototom’s facilitation of the big musical conversations between Jamaican music and its African roots will continue with his first outing at the Dancehall area.
