Mythology and art have join togeter this afternoon in MagicoMundo, the area in the festival for a younger audience. The children have met the ivory tales of Mamy Wata, te queen of water who taught the fishers to live on the river without running out of resources, living in peace with all the living beings. Besides, they have painted some of the main scenes in this story with batik an ancient technique.
It’s an easy and entertaining way to make children become closer to a small part of the rich African culture.
