The Main Stage line-up adds its last three acts: the Jamaicans Mykal Rose, Ijahman Levi and Daniel ‘Bambaata’ Marley
First off will be Mykal Rose, who was the vocalist of the emblematic group Black Uhuru. The first reggae artist to win a Grammy award with the album Anthem, in 1985, will perform in Benicassim on Saturday August 13.
Ijahman Levi is considered one of the bench marks for Jamaican roots reggae. His long career that has brought him around the world and with a legacy of more than 30 albums, the singer, composer and producer, will be on Main Stage on Sunday August 14.
Regarding the young Jamaican artist Daniel ‘Bambaata’ Marley –son of Ziggy Marley and grandson of Bob, he will come on Monday 15 to the festival with a diverse musical project that, although it has reggae roots, represents multiple musical styles.
These three names joins a line-up with over 35 artists, including Damian Marley Alborosie, Beres Hammond, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Freddie McGregor, Marcia Griffiths, Max Romeo, Pablo Moses, Morgan Heritage –who recently won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album-, as well as young talents such as Kabaka Pyramid Jah9 and Assassin aka Agent Sasco along with many more.
